Contributions
The Cedar Hill Education Foundation, Inc. accepts donations from individuals, corporations, and other foundations to fund its programs. Contributions can be given for a specific program or to the endowment fund and may be given in honor or memory of someone. The endowment insures perpetuity of the Foundation and provides a secure source of funds for education.
WAYS TO INVEST
• Donor Levels of Giving
- $25,000 Platinum Investor
- $10,000 Gold Benefactor
- $ 5,000 Silver Patron
- $ 2,500 Partner
- $ 1,000 Advocate
- $ 500 Sponsor
- $ 250 Friend
• GENERAL ENDOWMENT
Placed in the general fund, the principal is invested and interest earned is used to support and enrich education in the Cedar Hill ISD.
• INDIVIDUAL ENDOWMENT
A one time donation of $10,000 or more assures the perpetuity of an annual award and may be in a donor selected program area. The donation may be established in the name of the donor or in honor or memory of a loved one.
• TERM ENDOWMENT
A minimum of $10,000 may be given in over a five year period and may be in a donor selected program area. The donation may be established in the name of the donor or in honor or memory of a loved one. An additional amount may be given each year to provide an annual award until the endowment level is achieved.
• PLANNED GIVING
Please consider the Foundation through memorial gifts, trusts, life insurance and other options recommended by an estate planner.
• MATCHED GIFTS
Donors can often double a contribution with an employer matching gift. Check with your employer.
• EMPLOYEE PAYROLL DEDUCTION
CHISD Employees can have their donation automatically deducted from their paychecks. Please contact Teril Woodwardat 972.291.1518 ext. 4047 for information about the next enrollment period.
