Carolyn Hunt Memorial Grants

Carolyn Hunt was a lifelong supporter of the Arts and gave tirelessly of her immense talents and time in developing Art programs in many venues, including the Cedar Hill schools.  She was one of the founding volunteers in the widely recognized and successful Art Program at Bray Elementary.  Carolyn understood and tried to help others understand the connection between art and success in SAT and other tests; and that children who are engaged in art learn discipline, thinking skills, communication skills and creativity.  Carolyn knew that children’s involvement in the arts was linked to their future success.  It is with this realization that the Hunt family endowed these grants in her name.
