Grant 1: Kindergarten Chefs - $998.12

The Kindergarten Chefs project is a fun, innovative and creative way to teach young children skills and concepts across multiple disciplines. Students will participate in weekly cooking experiences that will tie in with language art, math, science, health and social studies. The project will encourage students in meaningful and authentic learning activities.

Grant 2: Take Home Literacy Bags - $583.97

The Take Home Literacy Bags Project will allow students to take home theme-based literacy bags for work and enjoyment at home with their parents. The goal is to expose the students to more books and encourage shared reading in the home. The bags contain books, parent journal, games and other educational manipulatives.
