Thursday Oct. 18th we hosted the Cedar Hill Longhorn Invitational.  The Varsity girls finished 8th out of 28 teams.  There were almost 200 runners in this race.  We were again led by Junior Sharne Glover and Freshman Aspen Riser.  Sophomores Paige Duggins and Meagan Washington continue to make a push as they are both coming back from injuries.  Freshman Lauren Barnett continues to improve each week. 

The Junior Varsity placed third overall out of 18 teams.  This was a large race having over 200 runners.  They were led by Kathrin Bier with a time of 15:02.  Ashley Anderson (Freshman) and Courtney Eberhart (Sophomore) also ran a great race.

We have our District Meet this Friday, Oct. 26th at Lynn Creek Park.  The Varsity Girls start the meet at 8:00.  The top three teams and the top 10 individuals will qualify for Regionals. 

If you see any of these girls, give them a pat on the back for the work that they have put in this season and also wish them luck for our District Meet this Friday.
