(April 10, 2008) The Dist. 8 5-A was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 1 and 2 at the Prairie Lakes Golf Course. Weather conditions on Tuesday forced a play delay and the finally a cancellation of the last nine holes. At the end of play on Tuesday Cedar Hill was in 4th place with a team total of 224. Lamar was in 1st. place Martin A team 2nd, Martin B team 3rd., Arlington 4th.
Wednesday was a new day and Cedar Hill Girls shot a 417 and beat the Martin B team, the unfortunate part was the Arlington High girls shot better and moved ahead of us into 3rd. place. This placed us in 4th out of 9 full teams entered.
One of the high points of the tournament was Brittany Riewe, a freshman, who finished 2nd. Place overall in the tournament and qualified for Regional to be held in Lubbock at the Texas Tech Ralls Golf Course on April 14-15.

(January 31, 2008) The Cedar Hill Longhorn Golf Team will be competing in the Magnolia Spring Shootout this week and will face a very tough field of teams from the Houston Area. We will be one of 24 teams playing on two very tough courses. Please allow the following students go to “A” lunch on Jan, 31and be dismissed from there. As always please allow these students to make up or take with them any work they might miss.
