April 10, 2008 Our Lady Longhorns blew out the competition at the Freshman District Track Meet held at Sam Houston High School in Arlington on Monday April 7th. The Lady Longhorns Team Points at the conclusion of the meet stood at 194, which beat out 2nd place by 70 points! The 4x100 placed first, 4x200 fourth, and the 4x400 got second by one tenth of a second!
Jasmine Lefalle took first place in the Long Jump, 100 hurdles, and 300 hurdles.
Debra Johnson took third in the long jump, fourth in the Triple Jump, second in the 100 and 300 hurdles.
Neshiera Williams got 3rd in the 100 meter dash as well as contributed on the 4x100.. Other contributors were Johnecia Douglas who placed in the high jump, triple jump, and 400 as well as ran great legs on the 4x100, and 4x400.

Dominique Daniels won the shot put and ran on the 4x200, Yarshekia Betts who ran the open 100 and on the 4x200, and Samyia Sneed who ran the open 200, 4x200 and an outstanding anchor leg on the 4x400.
Annifer Flores and Ashlety Anderson placed first and second in the 3200 and 1600 and Aspen Riser in the 800.
Kierra Hamilton won the open 400 and also ran on the 4x100 and 4x400. I am very proud of these young ladies and hope you will all come support them in their JV and Varsity meet held Monday and Tuesday April 14-15 at UTA in Arlington.
April 1, 2008 The Lady Longhorns placed 2nd to Lancaster in Duncanville’s Trackat Relays on Saturday March 1st. Our varsity team scored 119 points to last weeks 112 points and we only plan on getting better at our HOME meet on Firday! We also had a new school record set in the 300 Hurdles by Ms. Kia Vance with a 46.48! The following young ladies placed in the top 6 and contributed to the team’s 119 plaints in Duncanville!
