Dear Lady Horns,
On behalf of Bessie Coleman Girls Athletics, I would like to welcome the Seventh Graders to Bessie Coleman Middle School. I would also like to welcome back the Eighth Graders. I hope you had a restful and relaxing summer. We will be having volleyball try-outs August 28-30. You must have a physical and all forms filled out in order to be eligible to try-out. You also must be present all three days of try-outs.
We plan on exceeding the expectations set for this season, and in order to accomplish that goal we need to get started right away. I am enclosing a copy of the Physical Exam Form that has to be completed and notarized in order to try-out August 28, 2007. (If you have completed the physical, disregard the paper.) If these forms are not completed in a timely manner your schedule will be changed. Ladies, please take care of business so that you are not left behind.
Seventh Graders will be able to turn in all paper work from 3 p.m. 7 p.m. on August 23, 2007. Eighth Graders will be able to turn in all paper work from
3 p.m. 7 p. m. on August 24, 2007.
August 30, 2007: Parent Meeting 6:00pm @ Bessie Coleman Middle School This meeting is for ALL athletes. If you plan on participating in any sport, your parent must be in attendance.
You will be informed of the practice schedule once you make the team. The seventh grade athletic period is the 4th period of the day. The eight grade athletic period is the 7th period of the day.
